The Home Use Program (HUP) for Microsoft Office is a benefit available to employees under UAH's Microsoft Office Campus Agreement. (Please note that this product is not available to students.) The HUP provides several options:
  • Office 365 Home subscription - $69.99/year for use by up to 6 users
  • Office 365 Personal subscription - $48.99/year for use by only one person
  • Office Professional Plus 2019 (for Windows) digital download - $14.99
  • Office Home and Business 2019 for Mac digital download - $14.99
  • Visio Professional 2019 (for Windows) digital download - $14.99
  • Project Professional 2019 (for Windows) digital download - $14.99
Installation Notes
  1. Visit the Microsoft Home Use Program website.
  2. Enter your official UAH email address ( and click Get Started.
  3. Access your UAH email. You will receive an email from that contains a blue button to “Log in to start saving.” Click that link.
  4. On the resulting webpage, sign in with a personal Microsoft account. If you don’t have a personal Microsoft account, you can sign up for one as part of accessing your Microsoft Home Use Program benefits. Enter your personal email address, and then select Next OR Select Create one! to create a personal Microsoft account.
  5. Select the product you wish to purchase.
  6. Click Buy now
  7. to add the product to your cart.
  8. In your Cart, select Checkout to buy your product.
  • If you have trouble with the transaction, contact Microsoft Home Use Program Customer Support.
  • If you purchased products on the Microsoft Store, you can view your order history using the Microsoft account here.
  • If you purchased on (now retired) and can no longer reach that site, then please visit this site and enter your UAH email address. Microsoft will send you an email with your order details.
