Minitab Statistical Software and Minitab Express are available to be installed using an enterprise license file. See versions of Minitab listed here. Minitab Express is a more basic all-in-one software package for graphical and statistical analysis, designed for students and professors teaching introductory statistics courses.

Installation Instructions for Minitab Please note that the desktop app is Windows (64-bit) only.

1. Browse to https://licensing.minitab.com

2. Sign In using your Charger ID and password (Minitab now uses Single Sign-On like myUAH does)

3. Under My Products, click Minitab Statistical Software

4. As needed, click the button to open the web app, or the button to download the desktop app installer (Windows-only)

Notes:

• New students and faculty members are added to UAH's Minitab subscription every week. If you encounter any problems with the process below and are new to UAH, please contact the OIT Help Desk to let us know.

• Both the web app and desktop app use the same university credentials to authenticate.

• The Minitab web app is compatible with any operating system (https://app.minitab.com), but the desktop app is Windows-only. You can use one or both because they share the same files.

• The files referenced in the installation instructions are for home use of the software. This license is available for current faculty members and active students to install on their personal computers. This home use software is not available to staff and research users for personal computers (research users and staff are allowed to install on a UAH-owned computer under our regular license).
