UAH maintains a site subscription for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) so licenses are available free of charge for use on most University-owned computers. You can use your Red Hat Network (RHN) account to obtain software updates through Red Hat's subscription service and access RHEL downloads at https://access.redhat.com/downloads. To obtain a RHN account, please contact the OIT Help Desk at helpdesk@uah.edu or 256-824-3333.
Again, please note that, even though this is available to students, the software is only available for installation on University-owned computers.
