Ivanti Secure Access VPN Client (formerly known as the Pulse Connect Secure VPN) is the official UAH VPN which enables secure remote access to applications and resources located on the UAH campus. This software is available for Windows, Mac, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian. There is also an app available for iPhones/iPads.
Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux (CentOS/RHEL and Ubuntu/Debian)
Eligibility: Faculty, Staff, Students
Note: When downloading large files through Google Drive, you may see a warning that says "Google Drive can't scan this file for viruses." Please click "Download Anyway."
How to Install
Download the appropriate file from the Action Bar according to your device's operating system
Open the file
Follow the prompts to install the VPN client
How to Connect
Open the Ivanti Secure Access Client
Select Add Connection or (+)
Leave the Type as the default option, Policy Secure (UAC) or Connect Secure (VPN)
For Name, enter a recognizable name for this connection, such as "UAH" or your Charger ID.
For Server URL, enter psvpn.uah.edu
Select Connect to connect to the UAH VPN. The connection will be saved for future use
When connecting to the UAH VPN, you'll be prompted to sign in to UAH Single Sign-On. Use your Charger ID and Charger password to sign in, then authenticate with Duo 2FA
Once you are logged in, you will be connected to the on-campus UAH network.
